Lexington Garden Club

The Lexington Garden Club was organized in March of 1950.  The group meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at the Christ Episcopal Church, between February-November.

“The Object of the Club shall be to know, to appreciate, and cultivate flowers, trees, shrubs and birds, and to benefit by the association with other gardeners;  to sponsor the beautification of the community and to aid n the preservation and restorations of its historic assets.”

Meetings include speakers to present gardening information, as well as group trips to garden related places of interest in the Kansas City area.

A yearly plant auction is held each April and is open to the public.
